Kramer Confeld, Freda Ann, age 73, passed away on October 3, 2022, surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with COVID. A beloved, wonderful mother, Bubbie, wife, and friend, Freda brought love, compassion, joy, and humor to her community and she will be deeply missed. Preceded in death by parents, Norman and Lena Belle Goldberg; and uncle, Donald Goldberg. Survived by husband of 19 years, Kent Confeld; in-laws, Julie Confeld, Mark and Carole Confeld; children, Matthew (Heather), Mackenzie, and Michael Kramer; step-children, Johnathan (Sara), David (Jesse), Matthew (Sahar) Confeld; grandchildren, Jayden, Ari and Tavia, Maime and Ryker, Zoey and Zev; caring auntie Barbara; many cousins, Fred, Nate (Fede), Ross (Cheryl) Goldberg, and their children and grandchildren. Born in Minneapolis as the only child of Lee and Norman, Freda inherited a strong business and entrepreneurial spirit, a deep devotion to family, and exceptional skills in hosting parties and baking delicious desserts. A 1967 graduate of St. Louis Park High School, she worked in mechanical engineering before starting a family. She was an incredible mother and advocate, who extended herself to others to help improve their lives and bring people together. She served as a liaison to help other loving parents adopt children, worked in special education for her school district, and worked in merchandising for McGlynn Bakeries. During retirement, she and Kent enjoyed traveling the world, and visiting friends and family, baking cookies with her 7 grandchildren, while splitting time between Minneapolis and Ft. Myers, Florida.
