In some of the past reunions, we have printed a book containing a bio of most classmates. This is too expensive and is outdated quick, so we are providing this page to create a digital classmates bio book. Please know... this information IS secure and NOT available on the website, but you are able to contact anyone 'via email', who has posted their bio.

So, please take a few minutes to update us with your comments and contact information, especially if you moved or changed your email address. Please add a current picture of yourself – it can be with your spouse, your dog, pet rock, what ever you prefer.
Your 'Then' photo will be added later by the site administrator.
Again please remember... no address or contact information is displayed on the website page, it is secure and only available for messages or announcements from the Reunion Committee.

Thanks and enjoy catching up on everyone.
The following pages by default are sorted by 'Last Name'. For better results, click on the down arrow to the right of the 'Sort By' and select 'Maiden Name'. It will be easier to find specific classmates.

If you have trouble accessing your previous bio, send a message through the "Contact Us" page and we can assist with your username and password.

after lifetimes in the horse racing business, antiques and the carnival, i experienced a heart attack and bypass surgery in 1999, so in 2001 i settled in glendale az and work mainstream as a behavior tech.  the urge to travel usually scratches my back every now and then but i've been able to fight it off.  when i decided toslow my life down i developed passions for cats, garening and discovering the beauty of the desert.  from in memory of...i'd like to menton andrea handler whose life was stolen from her in a car accident in the 11th grade...you had beautiful dark hair, enchanting eyes and a infectious smile and were a good freind...andrea, rest in peace.   And gordon Walensky who passed away in vietnam..  any others who passed away making the ultmate sacrafice for our incredible country, rest in peace

I am looking forward to the 50th reunion and will be attending with Joyce, Noel and Vickey. We have had several trips in recent years with lots of time for reminissing over our year books and stories from the "Good Old Days at SLP".

Life has changed this past year as I have retired from 31 years in the Lettershop business. My wonderful husband Jeff and I will be married 44 years in July. We have 2 fantastic sons. Jeremy 40, has been a machinist at Boston Scientific for over 20 years and enjoys everything on wheels. Kyle 34, is also a machinist/welder at Pengo and is an avid fisherman.

I am very blessed with my family and also am a 2011 Cancer survivor. Without the help from my best friend, Joyce Monson Anderson and her medical connections I would not be here today.

We all have many things in our life to be thankfull and enjoy each day to the fullest.

Hi Classmates!
I share everyone's disbelief that 40 years have passed, although there were some patches that went by awfully slow. Tough to sum up everything, but here goes; had a great career in the Army, retired in 1998, moved back to Minnesota, and am one of two partners in a law firm in Minnetonka doing business law stuff... I am the proud father of four sons, all out of college and making their way in life... one is married, no grandchildren yet... I am very happily married and Mary and I are looking forward to retiring for real in a few years to a lake place up north. I looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion. Here is a picture of Mary and me with Dustin (#3 son) at his graduation from USC a couple of years ago... he is now an Infantry 1LT...

IA US Married 2017-07-26 20:29:33
After being born in Iowa and living most of my life in the western suburbs of Mpls, I've come full circle and live in Decorah, Iowa. After losing my husband, Jimmy Johnson, to cancer, I met my current husband (Gary) and moved south of the MN border. We have a combined count of children (11) and grandchildren (21).

I am retired, but married a man who will never retire. Gary has agriculture businesses and his love of them keeps him (us) quite active. We travel a great deal and are involved in politics both at a state and federal level.

We have a bit of a 3 way split and spend our time between homes in Decorah, New Lisbon, WI, and Scottsdale, AZ.

Can't believe it has been 50 years for our class!  Wishing you all health, happiness, and most of all God's blessings!!!

MN TH Single 2009-05-08 19:06:09
Retired as a LCDR (SS) from the U.S. NAVY after 24 years in the Nuclear Submarine Service .

I served on two Nuclear Ballistic Missile Submarines , the USS THOMAS A EDISON, SSBN 610 (Gold), and USS PATRICK HENRY, SSBN 599(Blue) and made 12 stategic deterrent patrols throughout my career.
    Served on the Nuclear Attack Submarine, USS DACE SSN 607;
Completed two tours on the Submarine tender, USS PROTEUS, AS19 out of Guam.
Shore duties included: duty in Rota, Spain; submarine ovhl in Vallejo, CA;  decommissioning  of AS19 in Puget Sound Naval Shipyard  Bremerton, WA; Subgroup 9 Staff duty Bremerton WA; and two shore duty tours in Pearl Harbor, HI; .

On submarines you DO NOT get to "see the world" but I did manage to see southern Spain, Naples Italy, the Panama Canal, Guam, Hawaii, Southern CA., Brisbane & Syndey Australia, Pusan South Korea, Sasebo, Japan, Thailand, the Philippines and a little known (inhabited) atoll in the middle of the Pacific Ocean that belongs to the country of Yap, called Ulithi. A military career was not on my radar screen when in HS but as things turned out it was a wonderful career that enabled me to have experiences and travel to places I other wise would not have experienced or seen.

After retiring (and just weeks prior to my 45th birthday) I moved to Northern THAILAND --- where I am currently retired & living.

I told my daughter Michelle that my 40th HS reunion was coming up and she said, "Am I that old?"(referring to herself). Little cutie. Actually, when I'm 100 she'll be 80.  Well, Debbie Rich directed me to this website because I was lilsted as missing.  If Deb doesn't make it to the reunion, I'll try to get along without her.
My successes are my children and grandchildren. I'll bring pictures. I don't know how to scan one of myself - computer resistant here. What I remember fondly of HS was choir with Mr. G. And of course my boyfriend, a grade ahead, Gregory Biddle. We married and had 3 awesome kidlets. I wish they lived closer...Michelle is in CT, Jesse at Long Beach, CA., and Drew in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Six grandchildren to date.

Those were the good old days. These are also the good old days. Still see old friends from grade school. My kids always comment about the duration and depth of the friendships.

I "retired" in 2010 after the architecture firm where I was the CFO and an owner was sold. I started my own management consulting firm in 2012 and work part time. It is fabulous having an intellectual challenge and some income without the stress.

Carol (Richter) and I enjoy golfing and travel. We try to get away as much as possible in the winter to golf and get out of the cold. We have two daughters and two grandkids. One daughter is in LA, so we enjoy heading there to visit. Our other daughter and grandkids live in Plymouth. We spend a lot of time with them and help out as much as possible.

I have great memories from high school and as hard as it is to accept that it has been 50 years, I look forward to our reunion.

Have a great time at the reunion. Sorry I will not be there. I'm enjoying retirement after 32 years of work at the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board. I've been travelling quite a bit and spending time with family at our lakehome. I'm also managing to play a fair amount of golf this summer. I look forward to new opportunities and adventures in retirement.

Greetings!
I have two daughters, Jenny is 37 and Katy is 30. We all own many dogs and cats - my dog Molly being a calivier king charles. I work at the Dignity Center at Hennepin Ave. United Methodist Church as an advocate for clients who are trying to become self-sufficient. I love my work, but it is very mentally exhausting.
I am an avid gardener, spending many hours this summer trying to keep everything alive. I am afraid to come, but I will be at the reunion.

California USA Committed Relationship 2 2016-05-06 09:26:57
I wish I could join the reunion party, but after 24 years at the same job in Cambridge MA, I'm in the process of moving to the left coast. I'm going to direct San Francisco State University's new Center for Science and Math Education, which will be an interesting new adventure after so many years doing soft money research and development.

My cheerleading days are long gone, but I've been a runner all my life, and most recently did the San Francisco half marathon (slowly). I'm also into hiking, backpacking, and cross-country skiing

On the family front, my daughter Erica Sagrans just started work as a writer for Nancy Pelosi (yes, she channels the Speaker's voice!) My son Jacob is a junior at Grinnell majoring in music; mostly voice and piano. My partner Jim, who I've known for years, is a semi- retired clinical psychologist, who leads adventure trips to places like Patagonia and Bhutan. I only go on the shorter trips, like back country skiing in New Mexico. And my dog Molly, a 3-year old corgi, rounds out the family picture.

Please get in touch, especially if you've migrated to California!

Looking forward to capping off a summer of milestones at the reunion. Celebrated my 20 anniversary with my employer; saw my eldest daughter graduate from college, my youngest son from kindergarten and wrapping up my 40th season playing post-high school amateur baseball. I’m a safety consultant for Farmers Insurance, traveling the five-state area visiting commercial accounts. My wife Lori (Neale) of 16 years is a Watertown, South Dakota native and a mortgage loan office with Countrywide Mortgage. I’m proud to say my two oldest daughters (Brittany and Chelsea) are graduates of St. Louis Park High as non-resident transfer students. Combined, they earned ten varsity letters in Gymnastics, Diving and Fast-pitch Softball. Brittany was a homecoming queen candidate, Athena Award winner and qualified twice for the State Gymnastics Championships. She went on to earn four varsity letters at Gustavus Adolphus College. Chelsea, photography major, finished her second year at UW-Eau Claire and anchored the women's Diving Team. She currently is attending the Minneapolis Institute of Art.  By the next reunion, look for her photos in National Geographic.  She currently is planning her second mission trip to Honduras.  My youngest daughter Madysen (age 14) has played soccer the last seven seasons and is trying out for the Eastview Soccer Team as a goalie. She is also an aspiring runway model.

After coaching summer baseball in St. Louis Park for twelve seasons at Skippy and Carlson Fields, Brittany's mom and I are shipping her off to  Melbourne, Australia next month to play women’s baseball on a club team.  She hopes to compete for the USA at the World Cup in 2010. After three summers to myself, I was drafted into service again, coaching my son Jesse’s baseball team. He also is a Cub Scout and earned his first merit badge this summer.  Needless to say, the last two decades of my life have been spent in transit between kids activities.

Hi,
I have been blessed with a 37 year marriage to a terrific man and we have 2 children, both married, and 5 wonderful grandchildren. It's great being grandparents, especially since they live close by!  After living in Wisconsin for 15 years, we left Packerland and lived in Virginia Beach, VA, for 4 years, and then moved back to Minnesota several years ago. We were glad to get back. We won't be retiring for a few years yet; we both like our jobs. Besides spending time with family, we love to travel.
